What a cutie :bighug: ...its like a little fun version of the big CC's.

Good Luck with her....Superboats are, well, Super. Krakmeup just got him a new 30Y2K and loves it.

Remember us outboard guys have to stick together so post some pics of the Big YellowFin Tuna and Blue Marlin catches in the Fishing Files Forum.

Can't wait to see more pics of her coming together and in the blue water.

...add knees to the transom ...

Educate me - whats this mean?

PS - I like the boat!

its tough for me to explain, so i drew a little picture...

the knee adds strength to th transom by tying it in to the stringers a little more...this is somewhat common on outboard boats...

neat boat seano, keep us posted of your progress. If you are thinking 90-135, may as well go 135; having too much hp is not hnearly as bad as too little, especially when you start thinking about loading it with coolers, people, tackle...etc. Will it hold a v-6?

here is a pic of some serious knee braces added to a tunnel boat. Maybe a little over kill, but the transome definitely is not going anywhere.

Yup, that's what the knees look like...

Alot of people powered these little boats with 200s and 225s...crazy if you ask me...but a v-6 135 is a great motor...they get alot of life out of those...

These are a set of knees that are also tied into the stringers for a no flex transom. :crossfing
