Can anyone suggest a tool that can remove corroded rounded bolts. I tried to change out my water pump that has three hex bolts, that are totally rusted and rounded (salt curse is setting in). What can I use other than a drill and a tap. Thanks

Snap-On and Craftsman both make tools that grip a bolt head and is used in a socket or an end wrench.
These things really work.
You'll twist the bolt in two before the head will slip.
Good luck. :smash:
I think Craftsman makes a socket type tool that has teeth
inside to grab those pesky rounded bolts.
Check at Sears before you try anything that buggars it up.

I bought that Craftsman set and it works fine and does what it says it does. Money well spent and cheap anyway. $49.00 of your dollars.
