Looking for suggestion on rather the transom look sto be salvageable or needs to be redone? If redo needed anyone have a cost estimate?

hard to tell from the pic, but if it were me, I would try wet sanding first, then buffing, then waxing. You might be surprised how deep the gellcoat is on these boats. Worst case scenario, you have to repaint which you are already inquiring about.

I agree w/Fish, you might be surprized how easy this might be. Everything you see is above (or on top of) the gel or paint. Just to proove it too yourself. buy a pack of color sanding materials, i.e., 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 wet or dry paper and try a small spot. You won't have but $10.00-$12.00 tied up in it. :smash:
