Anyone have good plans for a Bigblock engine dolly?

Something stable to put a 502 on and bolt on accessories, etc.

If you are talking about an engine stand;
Sam's Club has a 4 castor, fold up one. CHEAP.
502 with all the goodies/ no problem :smash:

I have bought 4 of the stands from Summit, they work fine for me.

My machine guy turned me onto these, with the mount type you can run the engine. My old one is like the Summit's, it has from way back always left me a little queezy having a fully loaded block hanging on a single welded 2" pipe. I'll keep my old one for working on internals but for rigging the mount style is the tits! Check Em Out!

Exactly! I am ordering the dolly type, my old neck style is a 1000# but gets a bit scary when you load all the goodies on. The dolly type is rock stable and you can crank or run the engine which can not be done on the other.

Eastwood.. the place that sells stuff for restoring cars sells a basic one that suppots it from the bottom of the block. Its nice because you can mount your flywheel housing & stuff to it. the engines weight holds it in place. I have used it several times for building blower motors on bigblocks. Its very stable & rolls easily. I bought one for about 80- ...
