I bought this boat in 1994 from the second owner. I ran the boat a couple of times. Put her up without doing anything to her. And she has sat. 4 years outside. The last 6 inside. I have too much stuff. Twin 302s, condition unknown. Galvanized trailer that works OK. Help me finish some of my other projects. Located downtown Houston, Texas. Thanks, Craig Stanfield

I owned a 1971 19' SuperNova that Brownie built for John Holman of Holman Moody fame. It had a counter rotating H/M 427 Ford w/ vee-drive. It was a great boat...!! I am sorry to this day that I ever sold it.

Dave: Was that a pretty hot version of the 427? I have never seen a 19 in the flesh. How fast did she go?

Yea - It was a very hot 427. Keep in mind that this was John Holman's personal boat and the engine was a full bore blueprinted race engine with twin Holley's and all the go fast marine goodies built in his engine shop. The 19' SuoerNova had a really wide beam. The two front seats sat two each - 4 asses across...!! Another seat was built into the engine cover and two additional seats in the rear on each side of the cover. Seating for 7 in a 19' boat...!! Unfortunately the speed was limited to about 60 mph. because the boat weighed 7000 lbs. dry. plus 80 gallons of gas in three tanks. But what a boat....it's lines were so modern that even today it would look like a current Euro design. Brownie built a beautiful boat...!!!
Selling it was one of the worst mistakes of my life...!!

DD or Brownie... why the counter-rotation ?? with the seating arrangement it had, I would think a standard-rotation would be okay, no matter what the helm side, or am I missing something??

:us-texas: :us-texas: :us-texas: :us-texas: Here's some more pictures. I shouldn't have built the garage around the boat. I built a 9'ceiling with an 8' door. I needed a 10'ceiling with a 9'door. 3 hours later...:us-texas: :us-texas: :us-texas: :us-texas:
