if anyone has been looking for alternatives to normal paint, powdercoating, etc, that is extremely durable look no further..
i do some gunsmithing on the side and i've used some of these products for non-ferrous and ferrous materials as an alternative to bluing and parkerizing... they are easy application, user friendly, HARD when cured and very solvent and chip resistant...
as a matter of fact i am baking a grip frame for a Ruger Blackhawk Bisley, using the baking laquer, (that i converted from a standard blackhawk) as i type this... since the lead time on bluing is 8 weeks at this moment :bonk: this will do in a pinch for this fall's hunting season :)
