CT River Run 10/16/04

Cliff & Brandon went to the Scream & Fly outting with me this weekend. I've never seen so many small go fast boats all together, over 80 boat's!!! I'll try and post some pics later. Couldn't upload this video...so here's the link. I was running a little over 60mph.... ;)

Wished I could have made it. My boat is running now and I would have liked to get one more run in prior to winterizing.

Had a road trip planned this weekend so I missed the run.

Boy I love the rooster tail from a surface drive. I have since back in “65 when I jacked the 80 Merc on my 14 ft Customcraft Cat 6 inches up with a solid oak transom extension. Add a 2 blade 21inch supercup prop and bingo :D Had to baby it onto a plane but there was nothing with a 80HP on Winnie that could touch it.

Geoo, it was pretty cold last weekend. Any sense of when that thing will start working as a snow making machine?
