I have a 1999 22zx and the factory power lift for the sun pad doesn't work anymore. I was thinking of putting in a dual bennett engine cover lift. Any pros or cons to this system, or should i just buy another electric one.
On the cover there 2 round tabs that are not covered by the mirror, can i put the lift brackets on these pads?
Any input would help. Thanks Brad

Brad , under the cover is just fiber glass the pad and minors weigh much more that the fiberglass deck . I would try to replace the orginal lift thats proven to work just fine instead of altering the hatch which is very heavy . Jeff

Tricks are made by someone else, whom I can't remember at the moment. Pricey pieces,:shocking: but they do look cool.

They are built by Dana Marine. Very cool pieces. No hardware showing on the outside. As was said, not cheap, but cool as hell...
