Hello all,
I need a cover for our 22 classic. It is being stored in a garage but right next to floor to ceiling windows. I need a cover to protect top and sides of boat while on trailer in garage. Does anyone know of such a cover? I already have one of the standard types, but it does not protect the beautiful colored sides of the hull. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
If you just want cheap shade why not tape good old garbage bags on the sun side use the blue easy to remove masking tape.

Phil, I'm guessing this boat isn't going into the garage for the winter, so it will be moving in and out of the garage, and the people of Buckhead probably have a by-law against taping garbage bags to your windows.... :D
D, would a full size car or SUV cover work ? Most of them are UV protected.

The boat is being stored in my brother's garage by the lake, but it will be coming on and off weekly during season and stored with it on over the winter. I could have my standard cover extended I suppose or just find an oversized cover of some sort. Does anyone know of anything exhisting or do I need to go custom? I think I will run into length issues with a SUV type cover. Thanks again.

Save your money for the important things OK,
A plain old bed sheet covering the garage windows will allow light to enter but no damaging UV rays, and a inexpensive hardware store throw-away painters plastic drop cloth to cover the entire boat will keep the dust off and will do the job nicely in an inclosed garage.
Thats what I use except I don't need any bed sheets. I only now will worry about color fade due to maga over head florescent lights. :jestera: :rlol:

I just got a quote for a cover that goes all the way down to the chines. Sunbrella material. My local guy told me it would cost $600 to have a cover wrap under the rub rails. It would be $700 to go all the way to the chines. He measured my 1996 22 Classic the other day. It would take him two days to make the cover. Is this a good price??? The cover would be used for indoor winter storage and also for summer weekdays.
