View Full Version : Trailering Forum Interest?

RvR

I have been doing a lot of Trailering/Camping this summer out of the Boston area and have accumulated quite a bit of information on local launch sites. Charles River, Hingham, Plymouth, Narragansett Bay, Winnepesaukee, Hudson River, Gloucester and Newburyport have all proven to be excellent runs. However it takes a lot of effort to find good launch sites, suitable camping or lodging, cruising guides for docking :anchor: and food. Exploration of a new area is a big part of the fun but knowing where to get the best Margarita :yippie: on the Hudson is critical information.

Is anyone else interested in developing a series of posts on hots spots for tailoring and if so what forum should we use? Fishing? Or perhaps if three is enough interest some nice Harbormaster will give us a new mooring.

Regards,

Roy

Roy, I think thats a good idea; a trailering forum. every now and then a great thread will pop up with lots of good trailering gouge, capturing it all in its own forum would be great.

Roy

Here is the only margy reciepe you'll ever need, but be warned. The'll kick you ass before you realize what you have done.

1 - 12 oz can of frozen lime aid
1 - empty 12oz can of lime aid filled with your favorite tequila
1 - 12 oz can or bottle of beer. I use Corona or Pacifico and Coors Light in a pinch.

optional - strawberries, kiwi or what ever you like

You can dump all three ingredients into a blender and mix it up or in a container you can shake.

In a blender add mix and how much ice you want and blend away(add optional ingredients too).

I'll have to try that one !! I like vodka

the actual recipe is 8 limeaids, 1.75 vodka, and a case of beer. Mix in large cooler. COuld probably add limeaids and cut back on the beer, add more ice to make a forzen drink.

usually I don't tell people what is on it before they try it because it tastes a lot better than it sounds.

I'll give GK margurita a shot too. thnx,

Only difference is that we use 40oz of rum, 16 beer, 8 limeaids, and 4 bags of ice in a 5 gallon Gatorade cooler.
