Beautiful weekend in the 1000 Islands..

We just had one of those rare beautiful late September weekends, the air was warm (high 70's) the sky was clear and sunny, there wasn't a huge breeze and the river was real nice with just a little chop.
The first two pictures are on the Canadian channel just East of the Bridge, the last three are own my Dad's dock. We didn't land any keepers, but the girls still had a blast.
Poodle/Jefe you may not recognize the fishing tackle they're using, those are ice fishing rods ... :D

boxy that is the best boating area, so glad you are getting seat time! Am looking forward to next event. We had the same conditions down here, racked about 10 hours but missed a beautiful moon light ride home last night. Towed out to Greenport so had to trailer home, but my sweetie did volunteer to take the sub & trailer and meet me home. I reluctantly vetoed the idea as she has not done any trailering and would have been a wreck by the time she got to the ramp, will be giving lessons!!!!!!
