When I power up or restart my pc Windows mediaplayer opens up and I also get a warning box that says Topmoxie requires a plugin (or something to that effect).

I am running XP.

I don't see anything unusual when I go to the startup listed in programs.

Any ideas. It does nothing to the pc but it is annoying to have to click out of them everytime I restart.

I think it started when I d'loaded windows mediaplayer after it dissapeared from my pc.....KIDS!

Thank you
Mike

Mike,
What do you have in start/all programs/startup ?

You can remove it from there by using delete. or go to adda and remove programs and remove the program.

Download a better media player like Itunes.

you have spyware on your computer. Run Adaware to clean. You can download free version from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

I have heard free version of Spybot is good as well.

Sorry about the lapse....I am in the middle of moving to another town.

I have always run Ad-aware, Spybot, and AOL spyware but the Topmoxie crap remains.

I will have to try to get rid of it again as soon as I locate my box marked computer.

I'll be baaaaack
