I am thinking about driving to Dallas to take a look at this boat? Has anyone seen it in person or know of it? any feedback appreciated. If you know of another 16 or 18 in decent shape in texas or Louisiana I woudl apreciate a heads up as well.
Jeff
Update:
The boat is mine...... now I just need some Size XS red thongs and a gallon or so of Kappa Alpha Punch (that recipe is somewhere) quick trip to the Turtle Club and I get my own Bikini Team.......... I'm sure the wife wont mind.... right ??????

Obviously I haven't seen it, but I would wait another month or so when the weather turns cooler and funds tighter and boating season really starts to draw to a close and prices will get even better. At least for the ones that MUST go.
And, not that there is any problem with this one, but, a V-8 and thru hull would add some more nice touches to this boat.

I am beginning my search now with respect that there will be many boats sitting around in the next month or so. the final Boat show of the season is next week and after that its down hill for the brokers during the winter here. As for the extras i am getting back into boating and have a 4 1/2 yo son to work with and the 6 cyl should be more than enough for us and his young cousins as well.

Scott has fallen in love with a lady from Seattle and doesn't want to take the Donzi with him. Somebody please talk some sanity into him. Marriage is one thing, getting rid of the donzi is quite another!
Happy to talk about the boat offline, just PM me your numbers. Last time I saw it, it was still a real nice Classic!

Seattle is a GREAT place to own a Classic. Two large fresh water lakes, and go through the locks to the Ocean. Can't beat that.

Damn those idiots in Seattle who sell their boats because of women.... :) :) Wait... I'm one of those people. But it's only because she wants a bigger, faster boat...
He should sell that boat to the sanleon kid, and then once he gets up to Seattle, I know of a really nice classic that he can pick up - and save himself shipping charges. Heck, the boat is even from Texas...
That is a nice looking 16 - BTW

Looking forward to getting down soon....... a boat just doesn't seem right sitting in the driveway here in town. Hoping the weather hilds until Sunday. Work all week and a function on saturday....... god I hate when work gets in the way of my personal life. Now if i can just find a few babes in red bikinis at Top Water Grill I'll be in business..... maybe some of those biker chicks will do.

The Donzi 16's are on Dickinson bay..... a well kept secret out of the way of the outrageous commercialism of the Cl Lk and Kemah Boardwalk. Although good for a tax basis and tourists just a little busy after a long week chasing down deadbeats that don't want to pay their hospital bills. At my current count there are now THREE 16's on the bay including mine. As for the bikini team on my boat it will probably have to be a black leather one knowing the crowd at TopWater each weekend. I spent 15 years with my Regal 28' Commodore at Lakewood. The area has really changed since the days BEFORE the big bridge and the removal of the draw bridge... some of you may be too young to remember and I'm only 41. Anyway I'm looking forward to making new friends out on the water. One of my great joys was driving out to Redfish (before it disappeared) and across to Smith Point and meeting up with a couple of friends for the afternoon and evening. Heck, I even propsed to my wife on a glassy smooth cool April 16th morning (it was the day after a looong tax season) out in Trinity bay some 13 years ago.
