Richard - Bill is working so I'll chime in with what I know...Maybe JimG can too.

454's with OMC King Cobras. I know he has changed out the bolsters to a more racing type and redone the windshield in addition to the dash (coolest one I;ve ever seen). The boat is vert well appointed and take the water like a dream.

I have seriously looked at buying this thing, but it just ain't right for now....too many other things pulling on my wallet.

And the SWEETEST wiring job you've ever seen. Boy must have stock in Ancor! All the way down to the little shrink-wrapped labels on everything. It's a thing of beauty!

And don't let anyone talk bad about those King Cobra drives. They are bull-strong (some say stronger than Bravo), and parts are still available.

Have engines been rebuilt? If so when? How many hours on them now? Stringers checked? Fuel tank replaced? Does it include a trailer and what is your price? Not kicking tires here, looking to buy this week but also looking at several other in FLA panhandle.

Congrats! But my question still stands...could I have pulled it w/ a 3/4 GMC 8500lbs capacity? Should I look for a Z-29? Did a member buy it? Like to keep up w/ that one! May see the market again.

Yes it's sold. The buyer took it to Puerto Rico. Yes your 3/4 tom GMC would pull it. I did wit ha 3/4 ton Dodge all the time.

I have a 1989 33z for sale that is the same color. The port side engine has a knock in it and it needs works. I put an ad on the site, but it hasn't been posted. Here is the information
I've had this boat out three times this year and put about 10 hours on it with it running great, or so I thought. I've had it on Boat Trader trying to sell it with a few interested, but with the engine problem I don't want to advertise it anymore. I brought the boat home after a day on the water Memorial weekend, cleaned it up and ran it two days later to show a potential buyer. We both heard a noise in the port side engine. It is a knock in the lower end, my mechanic buddies say it isn't horrible yet but the bearings are definitely bad and who know from there. The rest of the boat is in good shape, I just can't afford to keep it around. I'm so disappointed right now, I'm looking for options to sell it as-is. The guy looking at it this week was very interested until we noticed the engine knock, then he hightailed it out of here. I would like to get $29,000, but I'm open to offers. Let me know what you think.

1989 Donzi 33z. Twin 454s with bravo I drives, 524 hrs on engines. 4-blade S.S. props, 25 pitch. 4” S.S. thru-hull exhaust. Other standard equipment: electric engine hatch lift, auto-fire extinguisher, dual batteries, auto bilge pump, 200 gal fuel tank, drop-down bolster seats, K-planes hydraulic trim tabs, two stainless steel sinks, refrigerator, shore power. Cockpit interior is in great condition; it was re-done sometime in the last few years, no cracks in the material. Added electronics: depth finder, cd player with secondary mounted controls and cordless remote. This winter I added S.S. coolant crossovers & thermostat housings, aluminum intake manifolds with new flame arrestors, chrome valve covers, plugs, wires, rotors & caps. There are snaps for carpet, but I don’t have carpet for it. There is a snap-in cockpit cover. Yellow side protectors, anchor, and ropes are included.
