Nice looking boat. What's the story with these?

Scott Boldts had a link to this boat I believe a few weeks ago. Also, there was one for sale in California (white/black). This one must not have sold or had any good bites the last time around.

Some said Criterion on the side. There were not many. That trailer scares me. F-22 (turbo'd and intercooled) has one here on the site.

The one in California was $7500 and had a great trailer and was more "original" with few (if any) add ons and was listed as a 22 Classic. Might be why this one hasn't moved yet.

This was a "buy" if you ask me. The link is gone to the pic tho.

The F22 is the same hull as the Criterion which is also the same hull as all the 22 Classics thru the 80's and into the 90's. The first, and I think, only change made to these hulls was when a reverse chine was incorporated into the hull in the early to mid 90's.

I have a friend who's interested in this boat. Does anyone know what it might be worth? Has anyone checked this boat out already? My friend wants to have someone survey the boat and he wants to be able to take it out on the water during his survey. The owner doesn't want anyone taking the boat out without having a firm offer first; it's a catch 22 situation here.
Oh yeah, anyone know how many F-22's were made?
