Lenny, that is a cummulative total of wave height and tidal surge together, based on a static starting sea level reading. In other words, waves are 20-22' and storm surge is about 20'

I am in direct communication with Cayman Government which stated that 600 cars there got washed to sea, vamoos, and the cars were at second floor window level as they got washed off the island going down main Chruch St....... :eek!:

You have to love Atlantans... the cry of "WE HAVE WEATHER!" has emptied shelves of milk, water, and bread. It begs the question what one will do with milk if the power should happen to go out...

My favorite customer of this insane day? A woman needing fish heads for her prayers... somehow they would keep the hurricane from harming Atlanta. (I offered to kill some lobsters for her, but apparently they weren't the right sort of seafood for her deity.)

Toona, go ahead and sacrifice the lobster. You can keep the head for her deity, just send the tails and I'll dispose of them properly.

The last three weekends, my buddy that dives was supposed to go to the Keys for bugs, but the hurricanes have kept him away. :(

Does anyone know where the Pensacola contingent is headed? Or if they need anything?

Bunches,
