1967 28' Donzi Sportsman for Sale

She has Twin 454ci 340hp Inboard Mercruisers power her. Motors have less than 500 hours and ran great when they were winterized in 2002. The transmissions and v-drives are all in great working order. The boat has not been commissioned since 2002, because when cleaning her up in the spring of 2003 I found gas in bilge. One of the gas tanks was leaking so I replaced both tanks. This was taking months so in August an opportunity to buy a bigger boat came along and I took it. Gauges were replaced in 1999. Cabin has two full double bunks; galley with stove, sink, and refrigerator; stand-up enclosed head with sink and mirror; storage under bunks; four 12-volt / 110-volt lamps; and A/C. The boat is structurally sound and in good shape. Paint on the hall is in fair shape (has some scratches) and has new coat of bottom paint was put on in the spring of 2003. 4 new Batteries in the spring of 2003. the paint on the deck is in fair condition. This is a great boat for the money and is perfect for fishing or cruising with the family or friends.

I have the 1969 sportsman .I was wondering would you sell the trailer? The back deck where your engines are is not raised it is all one level with the front hatches .Let me know if this is correct or not. The rest of it would fit . Thanks I really could use that trailer... Thanks

Just was wondering if there are any bulkhead problems with the boat. Has it been recently surveyed? I too have a 67 sportsman and yes the entire back deck is completely flat. What is your reason for selling it? I too would be interested in the trailer. Could you let me know how much you get for it?

I am looking at a local 28 foot Donzi, in very nice original condition. Can you tell me what the original gas tanks were made out of, and how difficult they were to replace.

The beam is 10’ wide giving her a very large 108 square feet of cockpit. The boat is structurally sound and in good shape.
