can anyone help on my 68 18 classic with a 350 ci chevy approx 350 hp we run power trim volvo 280 upper and holman moody high speed lower foot the shaft is 15 spline merc have to use a solid hub because of the size of the gear case i added an extension to the cavitation plate really helped the boat now runs 64 mph at 44 to 4500 rpm 2 people in boat the prop i use is 13.5 dia 23 pitch heavy cup brand name dunlap looks like ski boat wheel after a couple hours use it looks like it has gotten hot i think i need a prop that likes to run high in the water the cavitation plate is 1.5 inches above bottom can anyone help
