Help!! Anyone know anything about 93 explorers? i dont know where else to go

I have a 93 explorer and came into the possesion of a grille gaurd for it. The bumper bolts are half inch and dont fit the holes on the guard itself. Do i need new bolts? whats the deal? I know the bolts onthere are 1/2 inch wide. Its a 93 sport. Any info on where i can go to find out would be helpful. (pep boys doesnt know shhht

so what you are saying is, the grill guard hole diameter is TOO SMALL for a 1/2 inch (maybe 12mm) bolt to fit through???

does the bumper guard have a square hole or round?

home depot will have no clue about bumper bolts.. but WILL know what you need when you say carraige bolt (rounded head with a square below and then thread).

Heres the pictures of my frame and my grill guard. The holes on the guard are smaller than the bolts present on the frame. i would need more bolts on the frame but where they should go, how big, whether to use ones already on there etc etc are questions i would need answered
