Well, overall she has lived up to all our hopes.
This past weekend we chewed up the edges of the Merc Lab props after towing a guy for 4 hours... Back up set ready will arrive soon.
Boat wise, we have only had very minor issues, biggest being the Sony amp went out, 13V at the wire in, she is dead as a door nail.
Performance wise, one word, "awesome."
We are getting 1.2MPG as an over all average.
72 - 73 GPS on a full tank. Will run a tad faster below a half, 174 gallon tank.

Downside of the deal is the CRAP service we got from the trailer builder, http://www.fastloadtrailers.com/index.htm still no spare mount and we leave town tomorrow, all lip service for 2 months, and we paid for it up front!
I will have one made and blast them online until they bury me, I told her/them (Joanne and her sister) she will NEVER sell one to another Donzi owner if I can help it!

Factory: Lots of new names at Donzi in the Cust Serv department, all helpful and professional, they have sent me allot of neat stuff for my boat, service shop manuals etc.
As far as the dealer (Woody Jackson), he still returns my calls, stand up guy, my next Donzi will be through him.
(Hi Stephanie!)

This weekend is 4 days of lake boating on Smith Mountain Lake. I hope everyone in the Donzi Family has a great safe holiday.

Hey Bryan, there just so happens to be a boat I am interested in at Shoreline Marina on that lake. The marina owner grew up in mine and Poodle's neighborhood, and even went to the same high school as Poodle...

Thanks MOP, Z-RATED stops occassionally! But not for long.
And NO I wasn't drinking the 100 proof RupleMintz that is sitting on the stern.

Which boat?
We (HRPA) hosted Mark for two weekends in August?
He is a good guy, although he missed a 33 sale to me, not sure he thought I was serious when we spoke. His reputation is very good. Plus he has extended his welcome to us to use his marina if we need to this weekend.
He will see us Saturday, we will stop by his marina.
We call him SUPERMAN... but like he says, Va Beach is like Vegas, so I can't tell any stories... LOL

Also on Bryans note, Donzi is going through changes, Yes Tom Costa is now running the ship in Steves place and I may say he is doing a heck of a job. I am excited on the future of Donzi and all the new products coming out and if anyone has the idea of buying a brand new 26ZX, 28ZX 28ZXO soon to be published pricing...

How does towing hurt your props?
Did you go too fast and load them up too much?

Hull #1 is an 496HO boat with X drives.
Hull #2 is a 525 XR boat
Big difference in price.

There will be a 20,000 differance in price between the two boats the 496 package should be running low 80s and the 525s in the 90s

Any pricing info+cabin specs out yet?It sounds like my next boat too!Ive read in powerboating that www.raylarengine.com has a 525/496 upgrade...aluminum heads, intake manifold, and cam package. bolt-on with stock ECM.,this would seem to make more sence then the whipple supercharger that blows up the 496 after only 60hrs.Or so ive been told.
