Windshield for 1986 20' Minx

I just purchased a 1986, 20 foot Minx. The windshield was cracked at some point and the previous owner only had part of it. Does any one have or know of a source for a replacement windshield?

i am in the process of rebuilding my 1986 minx and i have the original windshield in o.k. shape and heard of a place called Hunt Plastics in Sacramento, ca. i wanted someone to take dimensions from it for a repro. let me know if you find out anything.

my minx was bought originally by the Del Sol family at Tahoe Boat Co. in Tahoe City, ca. my good friend was the caretaker, drove it off the lot. My brother and i acquired it and drove it. It is that medium blue, white deck, blue stripe with red offset stripe between blue/white. it had a merc 260 with an alpha, now gel coat is done hardware is going back on it and a zz502 fuelie with a bravo XR with imco gimble, headers. I took off the stock trim tabs and have some big k-planes. Hull #DMR20014F586. i also have an all original sweet 16 with holman-moody 302/volvo penta, that drivetrain is coming out and the transom filled and the merc 260/ alpha is going in. punched the 350 .030 over, should be night and day, especially with a trimmable drive.

This is great info. Now there's two BB's that I know of. Also # 14 is a VERY early boat.

I took off the stock trim tabs and have some big k-planes. Hull #DMR20014F586. I strongly urge you to be extra careful about this modification.... I don't believe that hull reacts friendly to this...

FYI, but Get ready to spend spend spend... :-( last I was told ususally well over 1K... Also I have never done buisness with any of these places so I cant tell you if they are reputable or not.. They are just place that I have heard of from us being in the marine buisness... Hope it helps... Jamie
