I believe the 22 Donzi is faster. The Cig is heavy. I am just repeating what I have overheard. Then again, appently the 20' CIG is built like a tank.

Knowledgable opinions will surely follow. :D

Never been in a 22 Donzi; but have to say my 20 Cig with a small block does handle rough water like you say "a tank". Airborne landings are very smooth.......not much banging around:cool:

Cig 20s are a rare bird, I have only one and I was on a trailer. Last I looked Cigarette was calling the "Son of Gun" and the engine options seemed unlimited, very custom ride.

Im guessing that you are asking which one rides better in rough water,if so I havent rode in a 22 but have rode in a 20 minx many times and can say that my cig 20 rides much better than the minx on choppy inland waters, now on the other hand if up on the big lake and running 1-2 footers,my cig still rides like a dream but if they get to 2-3 footers Im getting some spray in my face with a 22 you may stay a little dryer because of the extra 2ft.Im running about 72 mph gps with around 425 hp bbc.

I've had 'em both. Six of one half a dozen of the other. No real difference. Choose for another reason ie. collectiblity, style, great deal on one locally etc. The 18 Donzi is a better boat IMHO.
