Ted, I guess whoever bought it from you didn't keep it long?

Must be hard on head gaskets with all that horsepower. Anyway, it would still look nice in my driveway.

From what I understand, they never put it in the water.

What? Why did they even buy it?

What is the top speed on a boat like that. About 85mph?

Budman

That is fast enough to give you a good facial. Not many boats could top that.

Whoever bought the boat traded it for a car and the car dealership is the one selling it now...I saw the boat in trader and called to get the details. I was told a 135mph top speed and that the boat was $130k brand new so I just hung the phone up :smash: :smash: :smash:

The salesman had no idea about the boat but was trying to BS me as if he knew it all....And when I tried to explain a few things to him I was wrong and had no idea what I was taking about.

What is this boat truly worth? I told the dealer I was just guessing in the high $30k-ish range:confused:

105mph_38_2003, you probably talked to the owner's son! Looks like they have the details pretty accurate in the e-bay ad. Why do you think it's only worth high $30's?

Ted, If we weren't buying a new house. I'd pick up the 22-c also and give it a good home. Maybe you should start a HP600sc signature series.

Someone here needs to buy this boat. I'd say it's in the $40K range.

Ted was this motor new or did it have hours on it when you installed.

Less than 1 hour on it.

BEWARE, I would caution ANYONE that it is made for show and go! Not a family cruiser and it does not like to idle or for that matter, it is not happy at speeds UNDER 45 MPH.
Anyone who buys it needs to be a VERY skilled driver.

I am not patting myself on the back.......just telling it like it is.
Roadtrip will back me up on this.

yellow caution stickers to signify intensity, skill level, and danger, this thing would have stickers on it everywhere you looked!

I think the boat could be bought for 38-ish.

If it were me, I would buy the boat right, take the 600SC out and sell it, and put a 500 or 525 in it to complete the package.

She is gorgeous, but way out there the way she is rigged right now!

The guy on the phone told me it was traded for a car and they really wanted to sell it, he could have been the owners son but did'nt tell me. I was in shock when he expected me to believe 135mph and told me I was wrong when I said 135 in that hull would be a death trap if it was even possible. I just guessed at a price off the NADA guide then added a little SC600 motor.

Someone by the name of "Donziman" is the highest bidder so far, but has not met the reserve.

I think the motor is probably worth close to $30k!

I had no idea that a SC600 was that much$$$$...Still looks like a fun boat:boat:

Actually it was closer to $50K

Wow! I knew it was worth quite a bit. How long did you have the boat with the 600 in it?

Latest price on Ebay is $18,100, and is still climbing with fours day left.

Only made it to $29k. I wonder what it would take to own it?

I asked this question at another post about this boat but didn't get an answer: I was staring at the pic on eBay of the stern and it looks like the 600 hp boat has high exhaust outlets like the Blackhawk boats. Did this boat start out as a BH or was the x-dimension changed?

I don't want to speak for Ted but I think he raised the X. I believe he also did a little work to the bottom.

I just want to drive that bad boy once!
