Looks like a lot or work has been put into it. Now I know why we haven't seen you on the board as much lately. Keep up the good work.

Your rig looks really good. I purchased a 16 Ski Sporter from Jerry Eisele last fall and it is currently being redone..
Question- Is your boat painted or gelcoated? I have heard pros&cons about each.
Thanks, Bill

Cliff,

Looks AWESOME! Nice job! Only those that have split a hull know how much you have done!

Did you ever run the twin turbo? The turbos look to be too big . . ?

Mario - No, we never ran the boat before putting in the new motor.

Bill - The boat is gelcoated.

And Matty - Smart Aleck.....

Cliff the pic in the other post was surely a teaser, this set is great. Everything looks to be perfection, quite a change from last year when I breezed by to pickup Mario's stuff. The very best of Donzi Daze to your "Sweetie in her new boat". I praise you both for your hard work together.

Yea, you're right Scott. The only one I see doing any work in these photos is in fact Di.

Nice job Di!!!

Thanks guys... But in all fairness, Cliff did ALOT of work on this boat.

He did most of the research of how to do "stuff" such as the recoring. He also did most of the repower of the motor.

My role was comprised of the helping with the recoring, painting and fitting into the bilge to hook things up once the motor was in. However, I will say that I learned more about how to recore and how to set up a motor (including the firing order for a Chevy small block - 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2) than I ever thought possible.

well most people don't understand the difficult nature and physical riggors of doing the job of " looking busy"

some rules of thumb

1. never be caught on camera "looking busy"
2. never be caught with a beer in your hand "looking busy"
3. always reply to " insert name here, can you get me the.....
with "sorry I'm busy now"
4. when "looking busy" always find time to keep the beer cold and have the pizza place on speed dial

here are examples of FAILURE OF THE FIRST RULE

;) :)

Cliff & Diana,
The boat really came out great and something to be very proud of ! Look forward to seeing it run again at L.G. Fall Picnic.
