Should be ready by Tuesday.

New Transom.
All new stringers/cross braces.
Added almost a 1/2 inch to hull.
Gel coat used instead of paint.
The stern was also repaired and re-gelcoated.

The gelcoat looks great and really seals everything up.

Same guy will be doing some work on the 22 this winter!

Wow Mike!!!
Looks really great. The skill really shows. The size of the repairs he does at one time is impressive.
Also, according to the last picture, this guy must have some really strong arms!

Very nice work being done.

ou might want to take this opportunity to make some new hinges to go along with the two you have. I found on my Z-33 that the two hinges just didn't hold the weight and after so many years, the hatch has begun to bow. I had Derrick at DRS here in St. Pete make two more. He can make them from the guide of the one you have. Just take it off and send it to him and he can do it. It's worth it and you'll not be closer to the problem thanyou are now. Just an idea for you.,

Nice beefy job should last forever, I will be going through some of this come fall. I have a couple of mystery areas, they show medium moisture but when drilled into show good wood but wet is wet.
