28zx prop selection

I bought a '99 28zx which has 350 mag mpi and is currently running mirage plus 25s. I hit about 4600-4650 RPM and have seen a hair over 71 on gps. Stock the boat came with 23 mirages. Some people say I'm over propped and go back to 23s and others say theres better midrange economy with the 25s. Anyone out there with experience and / or opinions?

My 2 cents is over propped, you need the 23's to be easier on the drives out of the hole, you will gain more top end with the added few hundred RPM, the cruise difference is not worth it with 25's.

I agree with Bryan go with the 23's my 28ZX I had ran 72 MPH 4800 RPM all around great performance. Good Luck :D
