I will attach pictures as I go.
I am the third owner, fresh water boat. Original Goshen, Indiana boat. 5.7L 350 V8 with OMC King Cobra drive (with the newest clutch...rounded drive). NO radio, trim tabs, thru-hull exhaust. BASIC boat. Original interior, gauges, paint, etc. Has the red stripe down the deck and at the waterline. Hours: unknown.
Three props: stock Viper, newer Raker, and new Ballistic (the best so far)
Trailer: Single-axle Eagle, grey/charcoal in color.

I am asking $10,500 cash. I have started at a very fair price, and there is not much room to move. (Remember, I just got married and we bought a house...time to buy artsy-fartsy crap!)

How come the "thru-hull" doesn't look like "thru-hull" to me... :D Looks more like clean transom.

He said he doesn't have these items:

NO radio, trim tabs, thru-hull exhaust. BASIC boat. Original interior, gauges, paint

Damn if I were in the market for an 18 this would be it, a near bullistic package far better than Alpha or Bravo any day. The Kings very rarely let go even hooked to big blocks, check out the "Blue Pill" post 500HP hooked to a King. Damn this would be so sweet with a big cube small block.

Damn this would be so sweet with a big cube small block.I gotta flat out agree with this viewpoint. This, by ALL means, could be a bullet-proof rocketship starter boat for a stock appearing 434, that is whisper quiet in the harbor. Can you imagine a perfectly quiet 80 mph 18 Donzi?? dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ROOTSY !!!!!!!!

George,
I hope you aren't too sad that you have to sell your baby. I know how well you have taken care of her. She sure looks great (prolly cus you stored her inside all Winter). I wish you luck in selling her. I know someone will get a damn nice boat.
I hope Cara gets some nice "artsy fartsy stuff". :rlol:

Thanks for all of the good words about OMC being a great drive and how QUIET she is and would be with a big block. I have had a few stupid ideas like that, too. But, alas, I need to spend my money elsewhere (Mike knows all about that!).

Please, if anyone knows someone in the market, send them my way. I will also add more pics.

Boat is located in Decatur, Illinois (central, between Springfield, Bloomington, and Champaign)

Cheers,
George

Just came back from a nice hour-ride in the Donzi...she runs GREAT! I wish I could use her year-round, but up here, when the ice freezes, it is very difficult to get a boat moving through it. Nonetheless, she is a great boat! I have had fun for these past three years...but now it's time for someone ELSE to enjoy her.

Cheers,
George

Lenny, sorry about the mishap about the exhaust...I SHOULD HAVE SAID "NO thru-transom exhaust," I forgot I am in the ultimate-boats league. That would be like calling my V8 a "motor" instead of an "engine." How foolish of me! :shocking:

Yes, my boat is still available for purchase. I have had one serious potential buyer, but no one else has shown interest, until now.

I am sorry, I already have two cars, and I am afraid I can't drive a third, but thanks anyway.

LS6...hmmmmm.... Why not...they marinize the Viper V12...it COULD happen!!! :yippie:

Still for sale...$10,500. e-mail me at "gjohns6896@aol.com" or call my cell phone (217) 620-7188.

George

I will take more pictures tomorrow, I am very booked today....just got off work and have to go to a wedding for the rest of the day, but tomorrow I should have a free minute to get some more pics taken.

In terms of a trade...I would have to HEAR what the offer is, but I am mainly looking for cash.

Any serious offers?

Cheers,
George

I am interested in your donzi I am currently checking on price to have it shipped back to Lake George NY. Unless you would like to bring it for our Fall Picnic on Sept 11th. A chance to say good by to your boat and drive on the Queen of american lakes.

Thanks to all those who showed interest in my little Donzi, but she is sold, and the gentleman who bought her is coming to pick her up next week...gives me time to say goodbye.

George
