Saw this today. Maybe it's been out there a while, but can someone tell me which model 22 it is? The word in front of Donzi looks like Criterion, but unless it is a lost Criterion II, I don't see any seats in the front. The raised engine area makes it apear to be an F22 with the seating arrange ment it has. It's in CA for $7500

Been a boring day at work. Also saw this 24' Doral in NJ. This looks very nice.

Also saw a 24' El Pescador up in Michigan that needs to be put back together. Hull has been redone, now the inside needs put back together. Had twin 6s. OlRed must know about this restoration.

Its not any of the 3 models of Criterion.
The 11 only had a bench seat then windshield, nothing in front of the windshield.
The SS has a bench, then windshield, then in front of the windshield a hatch with a hidden smaller bench seat.
The Criterion has 2 windshields no bench....Ed

Think the name F2 and Criterion here are the same for this boat. In other words its an F2 but Donzi at some point just applied different names to the same model. At 7500 that's an extremely cheap and rare boat. The C22 came out in '81.

I agree with Boldts, looks like it says "Criterion" after the Donzi decals?

Ok, raise your hand if you're blind from looking at that crappy pic. I think a Crit is out for sure. It's described as a 2+3, so only the walk thru crit would apply, and on that boat the helm sticks up above the side, which i cant see on this boat. As for the writing in front of the Donzi decals, it could be a name for all that we know. I'd be more inclined to think it's an f-22 with a missing windshield.

Anyone make a phone call yet?.....let me rephrase that, anyone gonna ADMIT they made a phone call yet? :eek!:

In 1980 they made a model called the 22 2+3 along with the Criterion. I have the brochure. It did not have the raised engine hatch like the Criterion though.

I talked to him last yr. at a higher price. It is an F-22, 2+3 seating. He had sent me some nice pic"s that i no longer have. The decals are orginal Criterion which i had thought odd.The transportation costs would be killer to get it to Boston. So i passed then.

Yes, it is an F-22. In standard trim they did not have the windshield. The windshield was avaiable as an option. The F-22 was available for 3 years...78, 79, and 80.

Thanks Roger! It was saying F-22 to me, just the only shots I have of one is yours with the windshield so I wasn't positive. Unless this boat is beat to a pulp, you won't find a Donzi 22' at that price very often. And a rare one at that!

I agree, that is a heck of a good price especially if is, in fact, beautiful like he claims. It's too bad they don't say what power it has. I'm assuming it's BBC with a TRS drive because that's all I've ever seen in the very early F-22's and Criterions. Although I believe the 260 package was base offerings.
