OK, many know this boat is in production and has been planned for two years based on artist renditions (thanks Simon), first 6 or so are dealer boats, dealer meeting announcement.
I have a friend out of town VERY VERY interested and may buy one of the first 6, already working a deal.
BUT....
So who has been to the factory lately and has a few pictures?
Please email them to me vice posting them here out of respect for DONZI.

Rumor is T496HO's for a $ Buck Seventy, 84 GPS stock out of the box..
No bells and whistles, cheaper than a Gladiator or Executioner.

Bryan as of now Donzi does not want to post anything about the new boat. They want the boat to hit the market by storm! They are keeping the boat under wraps until then. This is one major step for Donzi and should put them to the head of the class with a lot more to come. So until the boat is revealed they rather keep it quiet. And I can't blame them.
I already have plans on getting one.

I was under the impression that there were 2 or 3 boats of this "flat deck" design.

Frank, true or false? Isn't it a series?

After my post several months ago I got blasted about posting on the 35.
All I can say is hold on to your socks you aint seen nothing yet.. Donzis legasy is going to leave a mark in the Offshore world that will put Donzi on top of the performance arena with the best of them!

I can only wait to see the 35zr...

The 38zr is a kick ass boat, nothing else even comes close to it's looks, ride  , and performance.

Roadtrip....I think it's the all red interior, it should come with a warning "Extremely Hot Surfaces" decal!

I would rather have this one........
Its been in the water once!! Its local and they are giving it away!

All that ZR needs is a big fat red stripe down the center of the deck, a 38' Classic. Have many of the ZR's been sold to the public for pleasure use? Seems like there are a few around for sale at really low prices, as if they are hard sell.

Ted, what's the asking price on that one?

Doc, I just ask that any pictures not be shown since Donzi is being very tight lipped about them.
I think the post is fine.

Good talking to you today, hope you make it to our Poker Run.

Rick, No the 38ZR just like the gladiator is not a big hit with the public.. No cabin kills the boat. But in the racing class the ZR is making its mark and they are selling.
Most people that buy sit down boats with no cabin want the 120 mph and better, Cats are the only choice you see for speed with the sacrafice of no cabin.
The Gladiator gives you a porta potty and a playboy cabin but you still have to clime down through the deck to gain access doesn't work well with the ladies.
I drove both boats the 38ZR and the Gladiator.. The ZR is more stable and gives you a solid ride and will crush almost every wave. I was looking to buy that 38ZR shown above the price is sick and well worth it, My wife said no it has no cabin...

Ted, how fast will that boat run with the 575's?

Cuda, good question, my Guess is 95, we have a new Cig 38TG with 575/XR's in the HRPA that runs low 90's.

last winter after the Miami show and he said that Donzi could do a thru the deck hatch cabin for the 38ZR. Can't imagine that it would be the most desirable place to be though, not to mention the weight gain.

Ted, how much for the 575 boat and where is it? Just curious about what "give away" means.

Frank, is there any talk about a 26-30ft version of the ZR, that whould be a great lake boat with a couple of light 377's in it.

All I know is the dealer meeting (so I hear) will have a new 35, 38 and 42ZR.
Still looking for inside information for a friend.

I have surfed on 38ZR's listed as low as $189K and some listed as high as $240K. I would buy I Cig if I had that kind of money and only wanted performance.

No there is no talk about a ZR under 30. I wish I can say more but I can't, all I can say is unlike the ZR the new boat will have a cabin and be a stand up/sit down boat.. You will not believe what she looks like AWESOME!!!!!!

AMH has apparently postponed the 2005 Donzi dealer meeting until all the boats for the show are finished. They're up to somethin. :shades:

The ProLine dealer meeting is going off as scheduled in August.

I saw the pics last year when I toured the factory. I was sworn to secrecy.... All I can see is wow..you won't believe the vision Steve had before he died. I only hope that Donzi does there research on the new design so they don't have any gremlins like I had with the new notch on my 38 ZX.

I have my faith on Donzi on this one, If this boat is designed anything like the 38ZR (They Hit A Home Run) The ZR has proved itself to be one of the best Offshore racers built anywhere and top notch on how they are put together we are looking to build a 38ZR with 1000s and 6 drives this should be interesting to say the least... I am counting on the 35 to be a great boat and nothing less.
