Does anyone know if you can buy or if it's even possible to install drop-downs on a 97 22zx? If so, any suggestions on a resource to obtain them?

Thanks,

Rich

Rich, track down FrankC's email address. He mounted bolsters on his 22ZX.

Rich, This guy will make up the bolster seats in any color to match your boat All bolster seats are 36" high have them cut the base to 26" You really cant stand well in a 22ZX but the comfort and ride are fantastic! You feel more secure in a bolster seat and they are very easy to install.
1) Remove your old seats and save the screws..
2) Fill in the holes with gellcoat or buddie
3) But in your new seats and drill pilot holes
4) Use a screw gun or drill with a phillip head bit
and screw into the floor..
The Fiberglass backing is about 3" thick and very secure.

Below is the name of the company that makes up marine bolsters.

How about that? The guy finally corrected his website. He used to call them "bulsters". That made it really easy to find his website just by searching on bulster. I think that was the only website that ever contained that word. :) I've heard from several people that they are put together very well at a decent price. You wont see them on an Outerlimits, but they get the job done, with gas $$ to spare
