OK, I have been reading for some time how insanly fast your boat is. What motor do you have and what's the top speed?
Thanks,
Wes (Curious....hymmm, new winter project? NAW, I'd kill myself) :) :p :hyper:

I don't want to answer for GEOO, but I want to make a guess and see if I'm right?

I think is't a small block 406 with a procharger making LOTS of boost. HP in the 800+ range and the boat runs 111MPH.

Am I close???

Woaaaaa is that fast. I just found the link to Arneson drives in the Barons thread. GEOO that is one VERY nice looking transom you have. I could not imagine going that fast in a boat.

Wes,
I think the question was answered. Hp depend on boost (pulley size). Not sure how fast she will go. :lifeprese
Here's an idea of how she run's.

It's a lot scarier think about the speed you went, rather then being in the boat.

George am I correct in thinking this was shot after the rocker plates? It runs at nice angle at speed.

belts, pulleys I was close ;)
the video doesn't do the boat justice,if you think that is cool you have to see it in person, that boat is just awesome, if you are near any event that George goes to it is worth the gas money to see that boat run, it looks like it is on rails it truely is incredible!!!

George,

------Being basically totally clueless about surface-piercing type propulsion set-ups, can I ask if used KAAMA drive setups have any value? Could one from a very large Cigarette be adapted to a much smaller classic D-boat? Theres a boat near me that is starting to look like it may get parted out and I was just wondering............Bill S

Red, Cuda can probably fill you in on the KAAMA drives. He has a pair on his big formula. Wonder if parts are a concern?

George, are you going to be running the NJPPC radar run this year in Barnegeat Bay? If so, I will make sure my boat gets wet that day to see your flight......

Bill, diddo " Ask Cuda ".

McGary911,

Very tuff decision. I love going to Radar Runs!!! However, the run is the same weekend as Lake George's Fall Outting. I don't want to miss that BBQ and the outting is enjoyable for the whole family too.
