I have to thank Mario for the final kick in the butt to put the swap project off until fall. Bonnie and most of my close buds have been saying it for the last month. With little or no time off I will Kill it for now and go boating! They say I work to much, they are right I work while most play my 16 only had 76 hours on it in four years. I want to play and get some seat time I really need it!
Did get the bottom pretty much done, that took forever and will not get final fairing and gell until fall.
Installed new helm
So now all I have to do is:
Put the accessories back on the Tempest, most all are off.
Fit the headers and new tips.
Install the closed cooling, don't want to spoil a mint low hour F/W mill.
Clean bilge and do a tad of glass work in the hole.
Get and put on new rub rail.
Do some glass work in the tub.
Clean it up as best I can, will still look worn!
Get the drive cleaned up and paint it.
A re-stripe job.
Fill the tank and make Bonnie a happy lady!
Everytime we could have but did not go boating she was shall we say for a better word grumpy, got a big hug and kiss when I told her we would be wet SOON!
