One of my buddies restores old classic runabouts and builds a few new replicas, he gets them from all over the US and some other places. Below is shots of a hull built in Australia shipped to the west coast and now to Tom. He has been working on this longer than me on mine, it has a radical pinched stern, nice lines and very nice power going in as I type pics below.

My kind of guy! I'll have to take a trip across the little pond between LI and CT to see them.

The lines on the boat remind me of el Lagarto the famed Gold Cup racer George Reis owned on Lake George. I checked out the reproduction a few weeks back in Bill Morgans shop. Similar lines and back. Believe it had a 12 cylinder rolls Royce in it however. Beautiful Boat. Must be a blast to drive at high speed. Of course its not a donzi classic .
