C19 mystery water leak.

Took the 18 out of winter storage here at Lake Tahoe, replaced all the water plugs and hoses. Started the motor up and found a large water leak coming from under the port side exhaust manifold. The manifolds heats up very quickly so I thought it must be losing the cooling water going in, plenty going in. The motor is a 1999 350 Alpha EFI, TBI, and seawater cooled. I removed the manifold and cannot see any cracks etc. The exaust ports are dry. The inlet fitting stays dry, the leak seems a bit inboard of the fitting. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you screwed on of the small block plugs back in to the wrong hole. There are a couple of threaded holes in the block very close together, get in there with a flash light
and double check, I bet thats it.

Check the freeze plugs, also.
Hope it is what Ted said. Popping freeze plugs is not good.
