After installing new eng. coupler & reinstalled eng. I commenced to align eng. After several tries, got it perfectly aligned. That is definitely a 2 man job. Put the hatch back on and found out the flame arrester and EMI pipes hit the hatch. What do you do in a case like this? So I cut a hole for the flame arrester and routed an area so pipes don't hit. It looks like crap. Maybe a hood or hatch scoop? Where do I buy? Maybe SS vents to cover holes for exh. pipes? Any advise offered is appreciated.

the sbc in my 16 was installed nose low... no wonder the drive used to go on so hard and make serious gray goo out of the otherwise nice blue grease... once i raised it i found out why it was installed that way... i now increased the size of the ummm cutout on my access door in front of the P/S pulley... you can see daylight through it.. ooops... i had to drop the motor just a wee bit to make things clear...
