I use a 25p mirage prop at sea level. Looking for the correct prop for Lake Tahoe (elevation 6000'). I have 454mpi bravo 1 drive.

Ed do a search on high altitude then contact those members that will be your best source of info, there have been a fair amount of posts on the issue.

Ed,

More! Check the manual many OEM's have high altitude recommendations, possibly a jetting change on carbed motors. I think you EFI guys get away with the computer compensating.

Ed,
I have always operated my boat at sea level with either a 19" or a 21". At sea level the 19" serves me well. Last year we took the old boat to Tahoe for the first time. I used the 19" with a full load of people. I was really amazed, we got up on plane with ease. No, we weren't going to get three skiers out of the water, but it ran far better than I thought it would.
Don't sweat it too much.
Good Luck,
Dave O.
