Hey. A random person sent me an IM last night since they noticed my yahoo name has "donzi" in it. We were talking about the classics and speeds. Eventually I mentioned geoo's boat and it going 110 + and he didnt believe me. I have tried and tried to find the post with that information in it and I cant for the life of me. Anyone happen to know where it is?

If anyone can find it, I'd appreciate it! Thanks :)

Here is a good start- it is the older 104mph thread. I will see if I can find the others including the 110. There is also a great video clip that speaks 1000 words... at least.

PS, there is an old saying "never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beatr you with experience." How big of a donzi enthusiast could the guy be if he has not heard of Mighty Mouse?

thats what I thought :)

It just started to annoy me though that I couldnt find the post since I like the video. I used to have the video on my PC but I've reformated since.

From what I can tell this guy is from GA and has a Z22 and just couldnt believe that a small boat would go that incredibly fast :D

Thanks! Apparently you're a lot better at searching than I am!

It started by me telling him that we have an 18 that runs 65 or so. He thought that was just crazy and then I told him about Jamie's 16 that does 80ish. I think thats when I started to lose him and then my story about geoo's just pushed it over the edge. He mentioned that he comes to this site occasionally and goes to lake linear (sp?) so I figured he knew something about all this. Apparently I was wrong.

Oh well. He'll learn We're all crazy about Donzi's :)
And well just crazy sometimes ;)

Thanks Phil, I completely forgot about the Arneson Page. Here is the link directly to the article about Geoo- looks like he is up to 113 mph.

Ouch!

I'm fairly certain its "does again". I know he fixed it from the problem from AOTH

You wouldnt be thinking he'd leave his Donzi broken that long would you??!?

For that matter I'm sure it will be rebuilt faster and stronger than ever...

But, one must note that Rootsy fixed his toilet first.

Coincidence? I think not.

Sounds like a 70's TV show, "We can make him stronger, faster, we have the technology!"

- Update -

Thanks for finding the links for me everyone. I emailed them to the guy I was talking to and he was very impressed with geoo's boat. I believe "WOW - I wont doubt you again" was pretty closed to what I got back.

I just thought you guys would appreciate that and wanted to say thanks again for finding the links!
