18' 2+3 Classic,350 mag. 68 Barrel Back Bravo 1, 23 Mirage. Last year I had a problem with chine walk. No G.P.S. at about 61 aprox. it started to rock, don't remember the rpms. Put 100 lbs in front gained me 2 or 3 mph then it would start walking agian. It did make it handle better at all speeds, less listing, crossing the wind and rolling waves. This year I put alum. manifolds and risers on it and added a through hull exhaust system and the chine walk is gone. I know I lightened the boat some with the manifolds but I figured I picked some of the weight back up with the exhaust switching system. Anybody have any thoughts to share. 67 mph @5000, aprox. no GPS. I also have a L.H. 25 Mirage + about 15 min. of run time on it, brand new. I'd like to trade or sell or something if any one has a use for it. I read the threads about Turbo Props Could some give me some info. on where to purchase one? Thanks for your help, bigman.
