Float-a-moor is a new floating ring for pilings.
Aluminum casting surrounded by compression molded PVC.
Maybe someone here can find these useful.

Great for those folks who can't tie a clove hitch!

No, this is a very good thing, especially for those who have to deal with changing tides and currents. What if you lived and boated on the Bay of Fundy? Plus it will automatically clean the barnacles off your pilings as it rubs up and down. Plus a cushier way to fend off a piling than with your shiney rub rail. And you don't have to reach so far on a splinty piling to tie up. Or chafe your lines in heavy weather. Nope. I think it's cool. Of course it might where down your piling in a narrow area. Cheaper to replace a few mooring lines than a piling.
I just don't happen to need any (I'm poor trailer trash).
