My brother has made a 30' sailboat, a 24' sailboat, and these two beauties. He likes to use western red cedar sandwiched with glass. These kayaks are substantially lighter than a similar sized composite material, plus, they track better and are way faster than store bought crap. You'd think since he has two he would give one to me!
