Hey Friends,

Well, I was going to wait for complete pictures to post, but thought a short update would do. First off, after seeing many questions on speed, allow me to share (GPS x 2) 74.3/75.1 straight from the factory. Few easy mods (who said "Imco shorty", lab prop) 77.8/78.6. (thats moving with a 5 year warranty) Also, can't forget Eugene for the retro vents, they turned out great. (not in these pics.) Overall, very happy with the boat .... full pictures soon, promise. Donzi did a great job with every request (over 15) that I made.

Looks beautiful Cig. What prop are you running with the shortie?

Hydromotive 27", labbed, little cup reduced .... small amount of cavitation when getting on a plane. btw, speeds with 3/4 fuel, however @ sea level, one person, and light chop. Pretty close to the Blackhawk's and 500 efi's.

Afraid it would take more than just the tailgate change. Would you believe the Donzi is more fun?

Cig,

We saw your boat as they were finishing it up at the plant. I really liked all of the custom touches.

As for the big boats, been there done that. The Donzi out accelerates and out manuevers every big boat I've ever owned. Of course, this Saturday on St Clair in 3-4's, it would have been nice to have a choice! I am envious!

Bring that boat up to Thousand Islands at the end of the summer, I'd like to see her run!

Cig,

Could you please tell me the details of the Imco. Is it a 1" or 2" shortie, satin or polished finish.

Did you try any other props beside the hydromotive 27"?

Thanks
SL

I will send you a P.M., after all "any mofification" to the outdrive voids the factory Mercruiser warranty ....." and I would never do that .......

Cig, the boat looks great, the platnum MOMO looks great with the platnum Monsters. I wish Donzi would just make this wheel standard.
