Does a stock Bravo, mounted to transom have the ability to allow a short drive shaft to the engine package in order to move the motor forward 6"? Is this a wild application or simple stuff? I mean in a BRAVO application, not a 72C deal.
Obviously it works in the staggered boats but I am talking low-ish bucks.

Lenny, 6" is pretty short for an addional driveshaft with its two U-joints, so IMHO your best bet would be to lenghten the Bravo drive shaft and fabricate a custom rear motor mount to land on the Bravo transom plate.
You probably would need to move forward at least 12" to add a jack shaft.

Lenny when I was heavy into researching the A drive I got in touch with Eddie Marine, the will make most any type shaft you would need. The shaft that I was going have built was 9-1/4" long, the tech explained a fair bit of how too's. One thing that he told me was quite interesting, he said a fixed IE non plane changing shaft should have between 3 degrees and 12 degrees but not to exceed the 12. Tim (Transman told me about the angle thing also). I would contact Eddie Marine and get there input.
