Trim switch wiring?

I’m installing a newer (2003?) bravo 1 transom assembly and the wires from the trim switch and trim limit switch have no color coding. The old wiring system is from a merc 260, so the trim switch is brown and black, the limit switch is blue and purple. On the wires coming from the switches the trim switch has a male and female plug connectors. The limit switch has both male ends. None of the wires have any markings, just the different connectors.
