:bonk: Boy have I got issues. Pretty sure that the new 270 lower half is geared for a 4 or 6 cyl. and not a v8. I went from a 20' pitch to a 23" and still have no problem getting 6000 rpm.
Matty has a 250 drive with a good lower. Can I put his 250 lower onto my 270 upper? :crossfing

:uzi: Don't want a nice weekend go by without tearing up the lake a little bit.

I have "heard" (here) that they are interchangeable. I have a 200 drive, a 270 drive and a 250 lower in my shop and I don't see any reason they can't be swapped. They look very much the same with only some minor differences but I have NOT actually done it.

Just make sure you get something on the back of Matty's boat for the Dust Off! Good luck!
