Can you flush your engine with muffs while the drive is up in the trailer position and run the engine 1300rpm during the fresh water flush? Or should the drive be down?

It is not good to run the engine with the drive any higher than max trim range, The trailer position can damage U joints. The farther down the better.

How About If It Is In Neutral?

The shift mechanism is in the drive the drive shaft rotates when ever the engine is running. If you are that low on the trailer consider backing the trailer up onto some sort of ramps to get the height you need.

a little off subject, but rick always told me to leave the drive down unless you are trailering down the road. the bellows last longer if they are not being stretched. i get to do a gimbal bellows tonight. oh joy.

it's always wise to remove the prop if others are around durring the flush.

i never thought about using ramps, but i always try to stay bow up when running on the hose to keep the water flowing out the exhaust.
