Torque steering???

I have a question about power steering on my 18 Classic, 350MPI. Is it normal for the boat to want to turn right after cutting the throttle at speed? I understand torque steer, but I would figure with power steering it would be greatly reduced.

Yes the prop blades catch water like little rudders, you don't notice it if you throttle back slower. I had a G3 that got pretty squirrelly if chopped to quick.
