Do the classics have the same trim switches as the Minx? It's kind of an oval shaped rig with three buttons lined up vertically. Mine is bad on the Minx and I'm wondering about finding a replacement.

very attractive, and combines all your trimming in one place, and the price is right. i bought one for my Minx.

That looks nice George. I haven't even been in this boat enough to know where the trim tab switch is! Ray found that Merc still sells the original, and he ordered one for me. Meanwhile, I'll trim it down by jumping it with a screwdriver.

Scott, Ray already ordered one for me today, but I appreciate the offer.

Scott, is it the same one that's used in the Classics?

My trim switch is on the throttle handle in my Minx, unless I am misunderstanding the question.

My trim switch is on the throttle handle in my Minx, unless I am misunderstanding the question. So is mine, which by the way, has decided to go *down only*, not up, and I have now replaced the switch in the handle, and the solenoid, to no avail.... I have to use the tilt switch for the *trim-up* function.

My Minx came with the manual / installation instructions for the throttle / trim switch if you think it would help you to troubleshoot your trim problem I can make a copy and send it to you; let me know.
