Finally!

We just picked the boat up on Friday the 20th. The day we should have been at AOTH. The interior was done by Mcleod Design Group in Detroit. The wait was longer then expected but it was worth the wait. Michael Mcleod is a great guy and we couldn’t be happier. Everything is new! None of the old interior was used. They built everything from scratch with no wood or plywood, and the workmanship is outstanding. He has blueprints of the complete interior and is ready to build more.

I have a bunch more pictures if anyone is interested.

Next step to get the engine compartment complete and install new engines,manifolds,etc.etc.etc

Great looking interior... he did a great job. Im going to have to quit looking at everyones boats I am getting too many ideas. And its going to cost me a fortune to redo my Z. Good looking. How long did it take him to complete the interior?

Hey TRUESER The eyebrows on the back of your boat, behind the engine compartment vents. They look Chrome. Di you have them made or is it a reflection off the flash. i am looking for replacements. :cool!:

The chrome wrap arounds behind the engine compartment vents I believe are original. And for the price on the interior the best thing to do is call Michael Mcleod. www.mcleoddesign.com

I think those are replacement. Not positive but all i have ever seen are black plexi glass type material. Not sure. I like the look of the chrome though.:lifeprese

Trueser - What will your boat do at WOT?

Rodger,
Went with the new Vortec's from Michigan Motorz. Should be installing them sometime this week. IF IT STOPS RAINING.

As far as WOT we use to get 62 MPH on GPS.

Not sure what we should see with the new engines and less weight.

Mike,
I just put my engine back in the F22 this weekend and should be starting it up next weekend. Fortunatly I can work indoors up at the lake house, therefore, the rain did not stop me. What are your plans for the original 350's?

Rodger,
I plan on selling them once i get evrything complete. I was thinking about stickin one in my searay and replace the 4.3, they will have everything but the exhaust manifolds, alternator, and wiring harness. all else goes if anyone needs anything.

call me or stop by, the boat should be here in a couple of days. Fiberglass man is waiting for a break in the rain.

Thanks for the emailed pics, Mike. The reason I asked about the WOT speed is we have the same boat (size, year & hull) and I didn't get any documentation when I bought mine. So... I am trying to figure out what she'll do. 62 with 350's huh... I have 454 mags. What props were you running? Do ya think I'll make 70? :bonk: Thanks, Don

I'm running cleaver 19" Pitch props. But I'm sure with the new motors they will need to be changed.

I talked with Mcleod design and you can get pricing from Bridget at 734.942.1166. They are going to add the before and after pictures to there web site.

Donald send me some pics of your boat.
