BIG Donzis

Took some pics during my last trip to Roscioli's yard where they build the really big Donzi's. I was lucky enough to catch a new 80' both in and out of the water, as well as several 65's, a 58' express cruiser under construction, and a 72'. I am sure the massive awe inspring feeling you get when standing next to the 80' will not come through in the pics, but this is amazing. 4000hp, cruise 30kts, and one helluva donzi to pull up to your locak watering hole in.

The 80' has a 21' 6" beam. That means pretty well any Classic would make a very nice tender......Ed

Did they have donzi logos on the sides?
Just saw the round logo on the fighting chair

Marlin, believe it or not, I looked for logos to take pics of. THe roscioli logo is not my favorite in that I think it is a little too understated. I also took a pic of the placard on hull #1 when they were built in sarasota. The first is the new logo (says DOnzi by Roscioli) and the second is the old one.

Ed, that definitely gives some perspective to it ;)

That was a great ad. The yacht actually belongs to maclolm forbes. He already had one donzi as a tender and wanted a second. His was the first donzi sold in 1985 under the new ownership.
