Awesome boat!

Runs and looks great. Has the 350 MAG MPI Gen+ w/Bravo I drive and Mirage stainless prop. Yellow stripe. Eagle trailer. Options include windshield, silent choice, depth, cockpit carpet, cockpit cover, boat cover, AM/FM cass. Tune-up, new trailer tires and complete trailer brake and bearing overhaul completed this spring, which included new master cylinder, lines, and free-backing brake assemblies. 100% fresh water. Stored indoors. Boat and trailer need nothing. I know almost the complete history of this boat, and I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Price drop - $16,000 FIRM (see post #9)

What speed are you getting out of her and what are you using to verify that speed? I have the same 350 MAG MPI Gen+ motor and it is a strong runner for a stock boat. Good luck with the sale. Thanks.

I have no idea what the exact top speed is. I can only imagine that it's gotta be in the low 70's or so. Myself and the last owner never GPS'd it to try to find out. Even though it's not really accurate, I can completely peg the 75MPH speedo. I think the stock speedos tend to be on the high side, so I can only estimate that it's probably a solid 70MPH boat. I agree the 350 Gen+ is a heck of an engine for that boat. I find it balances the boat beautifully.

Donzi1996, I turned your number over to a guy I met Saturday who wants a Donzi. His name is Steve. Nice guy and fellow Harley owner, I bet if you give him a deal he will pay cash and pick it up quick.
Good luck with the sale.
Wes

I'm actually in Crest Hill, just north of Joliet. My Donzi was purchased new up in McHenry though, at Bald Knob Marina.

Price and info update:

I'm dropping the price to $16,000. For the skeptics out there (because I'm one of them), my reason for the price drop is because I'm ready to make a deal on a car, and I can't have 2 toys at once (wife's orders, seriously). Again, this is a boat that NEEDS NOTHING, and is in excellent shape. I just had it out this weekend, and it performs flawlessly. I'd be happy to answer any questions, and I encourage those that are serious to water test it. I'll be listing it on boattraderonline.com in a few weeks, but I want to give Donzi members a first shot at it. I think that $16,000 is more than fair for it, so I'm going to be firm on the price.

Thanks,
Sean

You're cracking me up over here!!:jestera:

Yeah, maybe selling the boat is a bad idea, since it gives me reliable pleasure at least once a month! Funny how things change when you're married!

Sold to the FlyingDutchman!! I hope he enjoys it as much as I have. As he drove away, I think I wanted to start to weep! :bawling:

When I'm ready to get back into boating, I'll be coming back here first, maybe for a 22' blackhawk! Thanks again and I appreciate all responses.

".......started to weep" (understatement of the year!!)What I saw in my rear view was a grown man laying face down in his front yard, kicking, screaming and pounding like a spoiled stepchild!! Sorry Sean, you left yourself wide open on that one!! Just Kiddin' everyone....The facts are that the Donzi was everything Sean said it was and more. He took excelent care of it and it showed. It was nice to do business with a person of his honesty, integrity and inteligence. :wavey:
